Dr Tucker is a pediatric physical therapist and electrical engineer with over 35 years of clinical experience as a PT in multiple settings. Dr Tucker also has expertise and over a decade of experience using mixed methods approaches to measurement development in health and rehabilitation, particularly in the development and assessment of patient-centered outcomes. Her work in measurement includes the application of modern psychometric approaches, item response theory methods, computer adaptive testing and analyses of paradata from mixed data streams including physiological and response data using biosensors and computer survey systems. She is currently funded by Shiners Hospitals for Children, the Department of Defense and NIH.
